Default [WR] Bewdley - temperature rising fast

Now up to +2.4°C and still rising, up over two degrees in barely an hour
and almost a degree warmer than at any time yesterday. Sun struggling to
break through. Feeling *much* milder than a couple of hours ago. Not too
keen on this, really!

Topped out at 2.8°C in the end. Now 1.9°C, but still quite wet with
plenty of dripping going on from trees and so on. A few snow grains from
time to time, but nothing substantial.

Currently 1.3°C and continuous light snow. Not enough to add anything
significant to the existing cover, but nice to look at. The RainToday
radar has an area of vague precipitation (so to speak!) just W of
Birmingham developing in the past hour or so, and I would imagine that
that's where this is coming from.

Here it's 0.5°C and continuous very light and frankly very sleety snow.
Cover still 100%, but probably only 2cm now on roads thanks to the
afternoon thaw. That nasty dripping sound is still much in evidence. Come
on. get below freezing!

It's strange David that the temps in Bewdley went up to 2.8c. At
Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, it's been barely above freezing at 0.5c all
afternoon.

Perhaps it's the local geography?

It still hasn't managed that (0.3°C now) but it's now back to proper
snow. Not very heavy, but another cm or so of new cover - just enough to
annoy those people who've spent the afternoon clearing their drives!
