Overnight 5cm of fresh snow fell here 4 miles from the Atlantic coast in
the form of showers. Despite a temp 0C all night, the snow layer was quite dense as many of the showers had been of snow pellets as well as snow. The surface wind is either calm or a light southerly, with the shower clouds moving above the surface cold layer from the north. -- Mike Tullett - Coleraine 55.13°N 6.69°W posted 07/01/2010 12:26:55 GMT |
