This morning's snow has left us with a covering of snow to a depth of
3 inches. Snow had begun falling when I got up at 7am, and the heavier fall ceased about 9am (ish) . Can be seen on Met office "invent" page, which seems to have been pretty accurate. The only thing I still cannot fathom (and from reading other posts I suspect I'm not alone) is the Met office warning system ! We have been on "be prepared" warning for heavy snow for a few days with very little in the way of snow. The one day we get some decent snow falling, there is no warning ! Only for ice. hmmm Matt, Ashford Outside temp 1.3 Deg Dewpoint -0.3 Deg |
