Default Snow showers heading SW into the West Country

Not forecast, but snow has been reported recently in Pershore,
Swindon, Bristol and as far south as Frome. Will it get to Dawlish, or
will the showers do the lee fizzle and drop their cargo over the low
hills to my north resulting in a dry pass over here? Or will it miss
us to the east? I'm hoping for an unforecast dusting!

There was a light Snow shower here in Plympton when I got home from work
about 5:30 pm. Not enough to add to lying snow but lasted half hour or so.
And we are south-west of Dawlish

There's a patch showing up moving from the Midlands into Wales ATM - not
sure how much is reaching the surface.

Cheers

Here at least, just a dusting. 0.5cm would be a generous estimate. Just
enough to cover all those surfaces that were so carefully cleared during
the day, and leave everyone with more ice to clear in the morning!

The UK4 model had some snow showers down this way this evening. The VT 00Z
forecast frame is still available with light precip. indicated over the
Exeter area

Amazingly there were a more than a few flakes showing on my head
lights as i drove back from work at 2100. I was not going to bother to
find anything about that until I spotted the thread title.

Anyway about time i had some decent snow as i am throughly bored with
the ' there is more on the way' approach from radio and tv

No snow oin dawlish, looks like any showers went to the east, but
there wasn't very much anyway. Have to wait for Sunday.......then the
prospect of welcome rain later in the week; for a while!
