news:N5P1n.10498 : Where do you get those minimum temps from that are after 6am, I assume : reported at 9am somewhere? Hi Keith, Philip Eden mentioned Altnaharra -22.3°C in his post at 11.39. It was also referred to on the Met Office site, but I can't find the link now. All the other min temps on today's list are from the 06z synops as usual. I look at the max and min temps covering 24 hours up to 18z in OGIMET http://tinyurl.com/y8mm6hq . Sometimes it is possible to assume that a min temp in the OGIMET list that is lower than the 06z synop minimum is the "real" minimum that occurred after 06z. Once or twice in recent days I have mentioned a few of these. I don't know of any online list of the 09z climatological figures. The Met Office site lists national and regional extremes each day.
