That's not media hype Graham, that's straight from the metoffice who don't
even have the decency to apologise for being so adamnat that we would see snowfall across the SE London included. We are all adults we can handle the 'it might snow bout then again it might not' line. Just seen the BBC /UKMO weather and again talk of snow. Well here in SE London the snow is rapidly thawing and at this rate will be gone by late tomorrow without rain. I have to ask though. WHY OH WHY ALL THOSE RUBBISH ADVISORIES AND WARNINGS? WHEN THEY ARE CLEARLY SO BLOODY WRONG. "Graham" wrote in message ... Despite Alex Deacon playing down the forecast from the one Rob McElwee gave us last night, the news reader continued to say more severe weather on the way with up to 8 inches of snow for parts of the south over the next few days!! Where for would that be then, over the highest part of dartmoor????? Why can't they just give us the facts and say the freeze is easing and a thaw as set in, there won't be the snowfall that was expected and milder temperatures are on the way this week especially for the south! It's so easy to give us the truth or would that spoil there big headline grabbing story!!! Temp still rising here, no sign of any snow whatsoever!! My wife said to me last night would we have a problem getting to work on Monday, I laughed and said only if the car won't start ![]() Graham |
