Default Sun fails in comeback bid.

About 2pm today the sun made a partial and fleeting appearance for about an
hour (Clearly visible on the sat image as a chink in thick cloud) before the
gloom descended again. This was the first sighting since Sunday Jan 17th.

Indeed, that must have been something to do with reports of a UFO over
east London...

Yesterday was actually quite sunny in the Southampton area, with the
sun generally out from mid morning onwards. Actually made it feel
milder than expected. Today has been less so : it went very gloomy
between about 2pm - 3pm (maybe later) but the sun did appear around
midday and again for about half an hour before sunset. Not
particularly dark even now.
