About 2pm today the sun made a partial and fleeting appearance for about an
hour (Clearly visible on the sat image as a chink in thick cloud) before the gloom descended again. This was the first sighting since Sunday Jan 17th. Dave |

Actually made it feel milder than expected. Today has been less so : it went very gloomy between about 2pm - 3pm (maybe later) but the sun did appear around midday and again for about half an hour before sunset. Not particularly dark even now.
