Absolutely stunning sequence of colours here in south Beds ...
yellow, gold, pink, crimson, deep salmon, and now
nectarine.

Reminiscent of those sunsets in Feb 2008.

Here too, to some extent, though the cloud is just that bit too thick for
it to have been as impressive as yours sounds. Still well worth a look,
though.

Same at Southampton at 1730. (Was facing east before then so may have
appeared earlier). So intensely red that I thought it was street
lights reflecting off cloud at first, until I realised it was clear
and not completely dark.

It was the same here in Teignmouth about 5:15, a long afterglow.
