Default Subject header prefixes

See the current "moose loose" thread.

It appears that when posting on Google Groups, anything enclosed in square
brackets is deleted (I assume and hope just from the header) so that
prefixes such as [OBS] and [WR] do not show.

However prefixes in round brackets - (OBS) or (WR) for example - are
unaffected and so posters obliged to use Google Groups for their posts and
who wish to use prefixes to identify the nature of the posts should use the
round brackets.

Best regards, Roger

Could you please prefix your headers on this subject of Header Prefixes
with a (HP) in round brackets of course, god forbid that that the subject
matter is not known until the post has been opened.

Tomorrow I'll be starting a header prefixed thread named 'watching paint
dry' (WPD)

You might think that's boring, but I do it for a living!
