Heavy snow disrupting north and north east
All schools in Shetland and 34 schools in Aberdeenshire have been
closed because of snow. A9 treacherous between Bruar and Dalwhinnie. Traffic halted on A90, Stonehaven by-pass. |

I remember walking back down the hill from Lerwick Observatory after a 'do' there. It was bitterly cold and there was a gale blowing. It's ice that is causing the problem because the Roads Contractor didn't perform on the trunk road network |
