Default Drifting in Aberfeldy!

The 2cm of new snow did not melt and is now blowing around and
drifting (albeit is a 2cm style) in a strong and gusty NW'erly. This
is our first blowing around type snow day of the winter.

My Lidl outside sensor in Dundee just dropped below zero. That's at an
altitude of about 300 feet in a garden on the side of Balgay Hill in a
bit of a frost hollow.

Curiously the radio controlled clock on my Lidl base unit (the 14.99
Lidl version, they also do a cheaper one) is showing sold synch with the
German radio clock (Lidl are a German company) and has been for most of
the last 24 hours. That's the first time in the two weeks since I bought
it that it has shown a steady reception signal for hours on end.
Normally it blinks occasionally but rarely actually synchs (Balgay Hill
is directly between me and Germany which won't help but compensating for
this the signal is low frequency (77.5 Khz)). Wonder if that is weather
related?
