Another cool day
Since 14th December just two days have exceeded 5C here in Copley.
27th & 28th Jan managed 7.4C & 5.1C respectively. Must be some sort of record and it looks set to remain cool for a few days yet! 3.1C max today. Ken Copley, Teesdale |

Since then 4 days over 5c, 17 & 18 Jan at 5.8 and 7.7, then 27 & 28 at 7.9 and 5.5. 4.8 today and car thermometer showing 10c driving on the M60 back from Preston, felt positively springlike there! There has been some snow around the village every day since 17 Dec with 35 days cover at 0900, so not bad for a lowland location. Will post Jan figures soon, interesting North Sea moderation effect compared to some inland locations. David Mitchell. Langtoft. E Riding. |
