Been gloomy all day, now we have light rain with it and the temperature
is only 2.8°C, had to put a fleece on. Well it looks like the cold could still be with us when I return from my travels, it'll be a bit of a shock coming back :-0 -- Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net e-mail: kreh at southendweather dot net |

Very depressing... Les |

Very depressing... Les Cloudy almost all day in Southampton and the immediate surroundings, but only seriously dull between 0900-1030 and actually quite bright from around 1400 to the end of the day, with significant blue patches of sky in the last hour of daylight (though never in the direction of the sun) - the fact that we're halfway to the spring equinox was very noticeable this afternoon. Nick Since nobody has metioned it - we drove home this afternoon across one of the higher roads on the North Downs - Detling Hill in Kent. After some light drizzle, up at the top it was almost all snow. Back to drizzle again on the M2.... |
