Overcast and misty morning. Somewhat brighter with some breaks in the
cloud from early afternoon as drier air arrived from the NE. Slow fall in
temperature through the day and frost after dark. Light E wind in the
morning; noticeable NE breeze this evening.

Severe pollution haze. Smog alert in Brussels and elsewhere in Belgium
because of excessive amounts of fine dust in the air. Speed limit on
motorways reduced to 90 km/h; 50 km/h in Brussels on roads where it is
usually 70 km/h.
