After an overnight low of -1.6C, it's now +0.4C, with a dewpoint of
+0.3C. Flat calm, overcast sky and fine ice pellets falling steadily, intermingled with larger snow flakes - some heavier snow at times - producing a thin covering on roofs, roads and grass, but it all looks very wet and temporary. Reminds me of some early spring days in the 1970s when (to quote my mum) the weather "really doesn't know what to do". - Tom Blackmore, SW Essex 85m asl |
