Default What a fab day!

Here in S Wales - wall to wall sunshine - the promenade awash with folk
strolling and heading for the coastal path or the shore. Temp now up at
about +8C and hardly a breath of wind. Hundreds sitting outside for a
coffee, watching the yachts, the gentle surf the.... I'm really
beginning to enjoy this sucker's chasm ;-))

Cheers

James

Yes, a big difference now yesterday's breeze has gone & the sunshine's
back.

Busiest the beach car park's been for a while - despite there being no
surf. http://www.chapelidne.com/php/surf_report.php

Not sure if you're completely sunny but might you be on for the first
10 hour reading of the year if so? Yesterday there was theoretically
9hr54 of sun in Southampton, and you're a bit further south and we get
about +4 more daylight each day, so it's possible?

Exactly 10 hours of daylight (sunrise to sunset) today for this location.

The sun rose at 07:28 and will set at 17:28 this evening.

I'm going to have to wait another week before I should be able to actually
record more than 10 hours of sunshine, though I do quite well here and often
record 95% of the total possible under very clear conditions. My record is
97%.

A lovely sunny afternoon after a cloudy start. With light winds and strong
sunshine it feels, dare I say it..... spring-like.

The birds think so.

It's been reasonably sunny here today at Margate, Kent. Birds are
singing but it's cold and there are still large snow patches in the
shade. Temp today has max of 3.8 but temp is falling off again now. At
3pm it was 2.4 with dew point of 0.0. Frost tonight, I would think.

Same here, James, although we only have 6.8C. A glorious day, none the less.
