Another freezing day. Overcast at first but brighter from mid-morning with
sunny intervals. Cloudy again after midday but a little brighter once more
at the end of the afternoon. Brief light snow shower at 16.45 local time
and there is a little very fine snow falling now. Light and variable wind
has settled around SSE this evening.

Still a completely wintry scene here. Lying snow 3 cm or so on the ground
and all surfaces and vegetation covered.
