Default Interesting flight path

I was quite alarmed yesterday when after flying over Oman, UAE & Qatar
we then went over Kuwait City and then over the centre of Iraq, passing
Baghdad to the east then over Mosul, then taking a sharp left over
Turkey, ringing the border of Syria. I was quite relieved we were at
38,000 ft. Also worryingly close to Iran. I guess times are changing
slowly for the better.
