I largely don't bother reading your stuff as it seems to be in a strange language. Most of it is due to the fact that forecasting seems to depend on crass misunderstandings inof a language I find alien. I hate the terms used in the NAO cycles but since they rely chiefly on the analysis of averages and thus have themselves lost the plot, I feel free to invent my own language. If it's any consolation the facts will come out eventually, probably long after I am pushing up algae. I dare say they will reinvent there own language for that -whoever the they are or will be one day. Negative NAO Index The negative NAO index phase shows a weak subtropical high and a weak Icelandic low. The reduced pressure gradient results in fewer and weaker winter storms crossing on a more west-east pathway. They bring moist air into the Mediterranean and cold air to northern Europe The US east coast experiences more cold air outbreaks and hence snowy weather conditions. Greenland, however, will have milder winter temperatures http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/res/pi/...pman_conf.html Meantime there seems to be nobody working on what I have been saying. And here is a little treat for those still enchanted with me. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/0..._n_467655.html I don't have access to records that professionals might. I don't understand a lot of the data that is available. I do understand that the stuff that is understood isn't fully understood in any manner that is useful (as far as I can tell) but for reasons that I can't understand it would seem that god is very good to me. Which says a lot about his patience with my language. |
