until after dark this evening. Now dry with broken cloud. Freshening S
wind during the morning - veered towards SW after midday.

Peak of the storm around 15.00 local time - WSW gale at Brussels Airport
and very windy with fierce gusts here in the city. Wind started to
moderate slowly after an hour or so.

(58 mph / 51 kn).

Temperature rose to 11.3°C during the morning but fell sharply at the time
