Default Easterly Jet?

Looking like a easterly jet is forecast to develop for the weekend
over southern areas.
Could this bring some spring snow with the north sea at around its
coldest at this time of the year?
Add to this the strength of the sun delveloping thermals the showers
could move a long way in land.
