After a promising start to March we have now had another 5 days of cloud.
After such a grey and cloudy winter I'm left wondering why we never get
sunny HP's any more. Today was supposed to be better, but no, more cloud.
Dave

Yes Dave I've been out the garden polling up that deadly blackcurrant and
its all damp but firmish but my shed has some wet rot. My old dad was right
when he said the only garden he liked had concrete covering it.

It did look promising earlier when the sun made a a very brief appearance
but soon changed its mind however I do tend see the sun more during a 24
hour day then I do the police around here and that's at night!!!!

And I hate to say it too, but I errrrrr.....will, gloriously sunny here with
just the odd small patch of cumulus. Over 8 hours of sunshine so far today,
continuing what has been one of the sunniest starts to March I can remember.

(15:50), 11.6°C, RH 56%, DP 3.1°C, 1031 hPa (S), Wind 8 mph NNW.

Another sunny day here. 11.3C max down the road in Teignmouth, but a
force 2 north-westerly means you have to be sheltered to enjoy the
sunshine. Can't really expect much more at this time of year.

At least you won't get sunburnt with that wind.

Hey Lawrence, I had a look in the mirror this morning and guess what? I'm
quite tanned already!
It's all that yomping on the moor in the lazy winds, puts red on yer cheeks
(and on your face as well :-) )

Must be a bit better today Dave!

Definitely not the kind of weather for the follically-challenged-
without-a-hat contingent in South Devon. A top down on the car, pretty
perfect early spring day (again) down here.

Some sunny periods occasionally breaking through the cloud - milder for sure
though ;-)
