Today's MO forecast for Perthshire and Tayside caught my eye. See
below: "Headline:Becoming cloudier with some outbreaks of rain. Today: A fine start to the day being dry with bright or sunny spells the best of these destined for Elie and Perth. During this afternoon however it will become cloudier from the west with some patchy rain over high ground. Maximum temperature 12 °C. Tonight: Fairly cloudy this evening and through the first half of the night with some outbreaks of rain. Becoming drier with clear intervals later. Minimum temperature 2 °C. Monday: A fine dry day across the whole area with bright then sunny spells breaking through the best of these destined for Forfar and Pitlochry. Feeling warm with light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C." Elie and Perth, Forfar and Pitlochry? All a bit exclusive, no? brian aberfeldy day 69 of snow cover this winter |
