Slight rain since about 1700Z, has finally turned moderate
in the last half hour. The moon, faintly visible through a thin veil of Altostratus in the rain all evening, has recently disappeared from view. There is not much spread in the glow from Southampton which suggests little or no cloud under the now thicker and lower Nimbostratus sheet. Max temp is exactly 5.0C higher than yesterday's, making today the warmest of the year so far here in Romsey.
