In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or
off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. [From Wikipedia] Does that answer your question? DNFTT "Meteorologist" wrote in message ... On usenet for many, many years I have repeatedly been accused of trolling. BTW trolling means baiting. Yet, the truth is that I consistently raise controversial topics; it is NOT trolling; for example - a) Christian Origins - Thiering Thesis (See relevant Wikipedia article, if interested) (Jesus Christ was originally an Essene who split from the Essenes at his baptism in 29 AD by John the Baptist to form the Christian Party) b) Proposal - Qumran Community were Essenes (Archaeology DOES support this conclusion) c) Climate Science Debate; especially Dr. Svensmark (I AM a meteorologist) d) Marriage Reform (As a psychologist, I once did marriage counseling long ago) Does the reader get the point at last? Best, David Christainsen- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - However, the truth is an airtight defense against ANY charge of trolling at any time and at any place. So, everything I wrote in my intitial post in this thread is the truth. Get the point? Further, I want you to know that on uk.sci.weather I have something worthwhile to say about Svensmark and Shaviv on the cosmic ray/cloud cover connection for the climate science debate. Get the point? David Christainsen |
