A cloudy morning with frequent heavy showers followed by sunshine during the
afternoon with the odd light showers. A rainbow-laden afternoon. It was a cold-feeling day, a max of just 9.2°C making it the coldest day since the 10th and the first non-double figure max since the 11th. Minimum temperature for today didn't occur until 10:30 this morning with 5.8°C as a narrow band of heavy rain/showers moved through. Sunshine levels for the last 2 weeks have been very poor but despite this, the month will end up being average to good for sunshine levels due to the incredibly sunny first 16 days. And rainfall should end up being just below the average. A windy, cool evening with a few showers around. (19:45), 6.4°C, RH 75%, DP 2.2°C, 988 hPa (R), Wind 18 mph W. _____________________ Nick Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
