Apparently David Bellamy has gone over to the dark side -if earth day was a
taste of things to come. Bellamy now accepts the science was right all along. No doubt he'll soon be back on the BBC then. Never mind |

@jhall.co.uk says... Not sure why Bellamy's view should carry any more weight than anyone else's. Yes, he's a scientist, but a biologist not a climatologist. I think that makes him overqualified. It's certainly a damn sight more than the vast majority of contributors to the debate. -- Alan LeHun |

ROFL, oh dear. Well if that was a joke, I didn't spot it. High profile people *do* change their minds on important topics, like that Green Peace guy a few years back who started supporting nuclear power., at least he had the dignity to resign, realising his position was utterly untenable. -- Col Bolton, Lancashire 160m asl |

Indeed. In any case, whether or not he has changed his mind, and whether he is now pro or anti AGW, doesn't affect the point I was making. -- John Hall "Acting is merely the art of keeping a large group of people from coughing."
