Gone a bit hazy now but the sunshine has been unbroken since sunrise giving
our 5th really sunny day in row. That wind was a bit keen earlier this morning but things soon warmed up with a max of 16.2°C after an overnight low of 5.1°C. Temperatures are now healthily in +ve anomaly territory for the first time since early December. Slightly less drier air today with correspondingly higher dewpoints, despite this everything has really dried out over the last few days. I've never seen the pond evaporate so much water so quickly as the last few days. Sunshine now stands at 90 hours, with tomorrow forecast to be sunny again then the 100 hours should be broken and put this April on par with April 2007 (1st - 12th) for sunshine. A fine evening with the earlier hazy skies clearing, and the wind has dropped a little and turned northerly. (19:10), 12.2°C, RH 65%, DP 6.1°C, 1025 hPa (F), Wind 6 mph N. _____________________ Nick Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
