You don't get a diurnal range of over 20°C, as achieved at Benson and
Hereford, very often in this country.

If that should get picked up on by the Telegraph, it would probably
appear as "You don't get a diurnal range of over 68°F (20°C), as
achieved at Benson and Hereford, very often in this country." (They
did something like that, not for the first time, just the other day. It
wouldn't be quite so bad if they didn't insist on putting the incorrect
Fahrenheit conversion first.)

If it's not going to be used, there's not much point maintaining the

I was in St. James Park yesterday afternoon at the end of the marathon
and I can confirm the weather had the feel of early summer. It was
cool, with rain at the Marathon start and cloudy until well after
midday. The afternoon sun was delightful though. Well done to my
missus!

Does this only appearing in the group on the 30th mean that she took six
days to complete the course?

Seriously, well done Mrs Jenkins.
