Unfortunately, the winds are forecast to blow from the direction of Iceland again early next week. If the Eyjafjallajokull eruptions strengthen again; "I see trouble ahead..........." It has quietened down a lot over the past couple of weeks. Presumably having melted the nearby ice so much less explosive activity at the vent now. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation...aacuk_vag.html As you say at present it is mostly Icelandic airspace affected and it is not longer going quite so high.
