![]() With some trepidation: I see there are plenty of MWGW "denial" books on Amazon: "Chill", "The hockey stick illusion", "The real global warming disaster", and "Air con" can all be found in moments. Is there any central recent source that reviews these books and puts the counter-argument? A recent book would be preferable. I want something that tackles these criticisms head on. Thanks Trevor -- Trevor Loose in Lundie, near Dundee Weather now viawww.trevorharley.com "These criticisms" will never be tackled head on, until there is a greater understanding of the climate and it's intricacies. The real "deniers" are those who can't (or wont) bring themselves to admit that perhaps blundering along in the mistaken belief that man can "change" the climate, making preposterous predictions of doom, and closing their eyes to alternative (and probably correct) science is a tad premature, particularly when practically all their hypotheses are regularly shot down in flames. There's no evidence of man-made global warming, so stop wasting time and public money looking for it, and thinking up loony "cures" like carbon capping - carbon isn't a problem. Most of the criteria linked to climate change are beyond the comprehension of, and adjustment by man. Leave it alone. It's done its own thing for ever, and always will. CK |
