Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon (GMT) on Thursday.
Issued 0536z, 16/05/10. The end of the week will see dry and warm (if not hot) conditions as high pressure covers the UK. ECMWF: http://www.wzkarten.de/pics/Recm1201.gif The UK lies under high pressure and light winds on days 5 and 6. The high transfers NE'wards on day 7, bringing easterlies over the UK. MetO: http://www.wzkarten.de/pics/Rukm1201.gif The Met Office run shows high pressure and light winds over the UK. Southerlies move across the UK on day 6 as the high moves eastwards. GFS: http://www.wzkarten.de/pics/Rtavn1201.png The UK lies under a large ridge with light winds for all. The high drifts eastwards on day 6, allowing light southerlies to affect the UK.
