Thunderstorm extremely close, just to S of me from 161745Z. No sig cloud at
all in Northern sector of sky. Brisk NW'ly wind sprung up. Not a drop of rain here throughout today, but large curtain of PPN almost to overhead for last hour or so. Typical 'summer' showers here this month (as last year when we only had one thunderstorm overhead.) After 10.2 mm falling over 1st and 2nd May only 2.5 mm for rest of May so far, with last 8 days nothing to measure and probably today will add another to that run. It seems that a very high proportion of showers track to NW or South of me. NSS 161900Z |
