Yesterday's heat and humidity has been replaced with fresher, breezier but
still sunny conditions.

Was hoping for a drop of rain but nothing has fallen since the 1st of June
and everything is starting to get very dry again.

A lovely day with long sunny periods this afternoon and a refreshing
westerly breeze keeping the temperature pegged back to a max of 22.1°C.

The overnight max was 13.1°C.

Monthly sunshine now passed 56 hours. I suspect that'll struggle over the
next few unsettled days.

Everything has been growing like mad down on the allotment. Things are
earlier this year after all that sunshine than I have known for a long time.
There are even a few tomato fruits on the first truss and the courgettes are
now in flower. Spuds look superb, as do the onions. If these conditions
continue then this is going to be a great veggie growing summer.

Nice to see the slow worms are numerous again this year on the allotments.
That cold winter doesn't seem to have done them any harm.
