Default 5th and last of the global temperature series for May: Hadley showsMay was the second warmest (to 1998) in 160 years.

+ 0.504C. (May 1998 = +0.596C)

Of the 5 series, 2 showed the warmest May on record, 3 showed the
second warmest. It is the warmest 12 months on record in any of the 5
series and the warmest first 5 months of any calendar month. I would
have expected global temperatures to have declined significantly by
now, as the peak of the last El Nino was six months ago, but very
little cooling with respect to previous years has occurred during
June. Present global temperatures:
