A warm, breezy, humid day with plenty of sunshine.

A good sea breeze started about mid-morning and helped push all the misty,
low cloud inland leaving us here in beautifully clear blue skies with just
the odd bit of patchy cloud here and there.

That sun was strong, and there are plenty of burnt people about, and
especially down on the beach where the sunshine was virtually unbroken for
much of the day.

A max of 24.7°C after an overnight low of 13.8°C. Feeling quite muggy this
afternoon with DPs 15°C at times.

On this day last year the max was only 18.9°C and there was just 0.7 hours
of sunshine in the morning then overcast with drizzle all afternoon. Could
have been worse, the max temp was only 17.5°C the next day with intermittent
rain all day. Lovely.
