Default [WR] Otter Valley, Devon - Warmer & Sunnier

Much better day after yesterday's cool and cloudy afternoon.

Long sunny intervals all day and not as windy but temperatures are still
disappointing with a max of only 20.5°C. Over 9 hours of sunshine so far.

A pleasant day nonetheless and with the low humidity, everything has dried
up in the last few days with the soil down on the allotment now bone dry
again. Haven't mown the lawn for a long time now.

Not a bad evening, clear to the west with some dark clouds to the east and
north.

(20:10), 16.3°C, RH 74%, 11.7°C, 1020 hPa (R), Wind 7 mph N.

Same here. a lovely day, but with a strong north-westerly all day.

This evening could be interesting, though. There's a band of heavy
showers, pushing east and lying over Somerset and West Dorset
presently. It may get to us! Have they got to you yet Nick? They must
be close.

Yep, started pouring down about 15 minutes ago, even had a late rainbow.

All stopped now though and the sky, after going very dark has now started to
lighten a little but looks like more rain could fall soon.

3.2 mm so far.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of sunshine today. The
air seemed more stable so the patchy sc broke up descending into the
bay, with no real cumulus development. (Though some did develop along
the spine of the Lizard and southernmost mosts of the Penwth
peninsula.)

Cooler than yesterday though, with a max of just 18.4C. - In fact the
lowest max of the month.

I think Sunday - Tuesday are looking OK for down here, and hopefully
back 20.
