The large depression static over the N Atlantic means something like 0.3m
above normal (adjusted to 1013mB) sea levels , including springs - 1mB drop below 1013mB means 1cm rise in water level. What to look out for in the way of secondary lows being spawned and spinning up the English channel approaches, the third element in extreme coastal flooding , with increased local winfd speed and decreased local air pressure. I see the jet is predicted to dip southerly at that time. Does Big G have something against GB? |
