Having been working on the chimneys recently I've become very aware
that it's an awful lot windier up there than down at ground level, more or less where my current anemometer and wind vane are. Is there a cheapish anemometer & wind vane available, idealy: * No batteries actually at the head end. A few metres of cable to a box with batteries would be acceptable as the box could be in a loft. * Wireless or cable (provided cable length is 30m or more) from the head end/battery box. * Real time display. * Real time data connection for a computer. USB acceptable. * Data format to use a published and preferably easy to decode. I don't really need rain guage or external temp/humidity sensors etc so complete new AWS is a bit over kill. -- Cheers Dave. Nr Garrigill, Cumbria. 421m ASL. |
