Hello Terry

After the kicking Dullish took on here recently I really diid feel sorry
for him so I sent him this email

"Paul

I see you are absent after taking a barrage of criticism and whether you
mean to or not you come across as abrasively , dismissive of most people
who
disagree with you. I initially found some of your put downs hurtful and
unnecessary they also made my blood boil.

You have built up a body of intolerance and even hostility towards
yourself
and I for one feel you've without a shadow of a doubt have brought that
on
yourself, however I don't like to see what's happened recently and
although
you had it coming it wasn't nice and I may be wrong, but I suspect you
are
feeling a little down at the moment. I suspected this and seeing that you
haven't posted since yesterday I believe it to be true but hey I'm
probably
a mile of target.

Even though your manner -not views- used get on me tits, its definitely
getting on some of the others. I feel no animosity towards you but its
not
the bridges with me that you see as important."

I thought it was fair comment and trying to be nice at the same time.
However he then sent me this, yesterday.

"Basically whatever.

You have little brain and very little interest for me and really don't
care a hoot for the opinion of a far right wing climate denier and serial
idiot like yourself.

It is your right to believe and think what you will. It is my right to
completely ignore you when I wish. No-one with any sense listens to a
word you say and I find this email offensive and your calling me names,
swearing at me and being downright foul on that newsgroup offensive too.

I may however, correct your stupid scientific views, should I feel like
it, as they have no basis in reality whatsoever.

I side with Jim. He loves you, doesn't he? And he's not the only one who
can't stand your fascist, completely unscientific views. Your reply is
blocked as junk and will be immediately deleted so any bile will go
unregistered, Loo Roll. Really; your opinion is worthless, you've always
degenerated into foul-mouthed insults whenever you've been challenged in
the past and you'll now revert to type - hence the block on any more
emails.

Goodbye. "

Charming eh? The mans a see you next tuesday and I will now take the ****
until hell freezes over although according to Joe B that could be soon,

Seriously though the man is vile and deserves no mercy .

Well at least it's all out in the open now and we can seen the true colour
of everybody's cloth!
Why are people so nasty nowadays, I'm sure it never used to be like this
on here?

Will

Will I genuinely didn't mean to post that here it was meant as a private
email but as so many now hide behind pseudonyms and fake emails it makes
communication in a world of nothing but communication impossible. As I
posted I saw the NG address and desperately tried to abort from task
manager what I should have done turned of my Internet connection and the
message would have gone straight into the draught folder. I apologise
deeply for sullying yet further this NG with unnecessary dirty washing. I
haven't been able to look at the aftermath all day because of shame.

I apologise yet again to all concerned for this subjective tripe on my
behalf.

I believe you when you say your revelation was a mistake. But
it was a very useful one and the more people read it the better.
Some of the emails I've got would burn a hole in a block of concrete
so I'd better leave it at that.
I really hate doing all this; it adds to degradation of the group
already caused by the Controller of Underground Nuclear Tests, but
it's necessary and it might eventually work.

Perhaps a 'close the stable door' comment but most newsreaders allow the
poster to 'right click' on their missive and the context menu that
appears will allow them to cancel their message.

Oops

Just sent a message that should have been private sorry all its to
late now. I 've tried to cancel it . Sorry.

As I said, you really are stupid, and that's how you are viewed,
though this was deliberate.

I'm certain it was a mistake.

But really it shows neither of you in a good light, does it?
Perhaps now would be a good time to take stock and end
this ridiculous feud, agree to disagree, killfile each other
and move on.

A special folder for weather-related postings? ;-)

Weather-related postings are rarely black and white. There are too many
variables. I use the drought folder for them. ;-)
