A big shower has survived the trip over the Cairngorms and has reached
us here in the upper Tay valley. )

Not nice snow though. It's the stuff that melts as soon as it
lands on
your head and sucks all the heat out.

Hmmmm. Might be a good thing if some of the contributors here
had some of it land on their heads then ;-)

Snow lying here all day, frequent hail and sleet showers and
rare sunny intervals, one long rumble of thunder in the morning.
It will be interesting listening to it all during the night.

A bright, sunny, crisp day here, nothing making it over them
mountains to the central lowlands. We need some sort of an easterly
component to have anything in these parts. The weekend and next week
should bring plenty by the looks of things. Meantime some cold days
and nights are on offer.
