@g26g2000vba.googlegroups.com, says... A big shower has survived the trip over the Cairngorms and has reached us here in the upper Tay valley. ![]() Frequent wintry showers in Aberdeen that refuse to lie until quite a large graupel shower has finally turned the ground white. Turned to snow now which should settle nicely on the newly laid bed of snow pellets. Not nice snow though. It's the stuff that melts as soon as it lands on your head and sucks all the heat out. -- Alan LeHun |

Might be a good thing if some of the contributors here had some of it land on their heads then ;-) Snow lying here all day, frequent hail and sleet showers and rare sunny intervals, one long rumble of thunder in the morning. It will be interesting listening to it all during the night. Anne |

A bright, sunny, crisp day here, nothing making it over them
mountains to the central lowlands. We need some sort of an easterly component to have anything in these parts. The weekend and next week should bring plenty by the looks of things. Meantime some cold days and nights are on offer. Alex Wishaw Hmmmm.
