Rapid changes over last hour or so - At last real snow!
At 1000Z calm with freezing fog (Since dawn - not forecast last evening?) 1020 Wind NE'ly 10kts or so, Large flakes of snow, soon moderate snow - very large flakes. 1100 Snow ceasing, 2 cm lying on most surfaces. Wind very light again. Large area of clear sky approaching from N with distant CB tops NE and E. 1130 Sun shining, patchy stratus,Temp Ps01 snow rapidly melting on all untreated estate roads, roofs and trees. NSS Mid Suffolk |
