Tmin -5.5º last night, the lowest for November since I began recording here
in 1979. Exceptional cold for November here as the previous record low of
4.0º was recorded in 1993 with 2cm of snow on the ground. Add to that a
ridge top site, well wooded and that Autumn warmth generally lingers here.
Quite a range of temperature this month as on the 4th I recorded a Tmax of
17.3º, the warmest November maximum on record.
