Just popped out for the paper and noticed a sundog. On the way back, a halo.
The base of the cirrus is 6,000ft and tops 13,000ft. It's clearly seen on the lidar at http://www.chilbolton.rl.ac.uk/weather/lidar.htm. The Ac it fell from is almost dissipated here. There may be a little high-level cirrus but most of it is the low-level stuff. -- Graham Davis, Bracknell It was raining cats and dogs and I fell in a poodle. [Chic Murray(1919-1985)] |
