Very noticeable heat island effect in Cheltenham today.
Where I live (in the NW of the town), the max was -3C, and there is about 1/2" of snow grains from the freezing fog. Go just 1 mile towards the centre of town though, and the roads & paths are completely clear, with no freezing fog... -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham (change 'invalid83261' to 'blueyonder' to email me) |
