Last night the minimum temperature fell to -10.2C in Coventry, making
this the coldest November night since 13th December 1981 (-16.1C). Meanwhile, today the maximum reached -1.8C - this was the coldest December day since in the city since 1995 (-3.4C). Interesting times! Steve Jackson Bablake Weather Station Coventry UK www.bablakeweather.co.uk |

Presumably it was even colder then? -- Trevor Warming up in Lundie, near Dundee http://www.personal.dundee.ac.uk/~taharley/ |

Presumably it was even colder then? Been an interesting day here in Leicester. Min at 8am was -9.4C. Max -1.8C. But shortly after sunset the temperature started to rise and some fog formed, reaching almost -2C at 9pm, but is now falling again under a clear sky. Pressure rising slowly throughout. Interesting!
