Hi, All,
The thawing wind continues. Down to 17cm snow now and melting fast. Damage / inconvenience includes broken soil thermometer (Met O replacement on the way), broken gutters, frost heave so garage and shed doors will not open, cracked road surfaces, damaged pavings, damaged kerbs from snow ploughs etc, etc. But it’s going (:0) Could even get the car out tonight and give Jeepy a rest until the next lot (never far away in these parts in winter) Swmbo can get out to places without me now!! Cold and snow are great aren’t they? They can really get you down.
