Default Wind shear

I've just been looking at something about Rossby waves and it gelled
with somethjing else.

There is something about these harmonics that is very more-ish.

Shear is nothing to do with sheer waves is it?
It's the vagaries of spelling online that gets me. What with those
colonials defying us all the time etc., etc..
