I mention this as it's good to get these forecasts out there for public
scrutiny. Piers is predicting snow over Christmas for *all* parts and bright and cold New Years Eve with snow returning New Years day. but that's not clear where exactly. Now I'm not saying for one moment I believe all of this but at least we can put it to the test very soon. http://www.weatheraction.com/docs/WANews10No38.pdf |

I notice also how it's come out on Dec 18th. Easy to be wise after the event (and adjust your forecast accordingly). If you look at the small print it says: "forecast issued 29 Nov. Essence consistant (sic) with First Look Summary Jun 2010" - essence consistent, eh? You have to laugh. I notice that they also said that the end of November would be mild - but don't worry, new methodology SLAT5 is here to make it all work again ! Richard |

Easy money! Boris was singing his praises in the Telegraph today apparently. |

Apparently his article was very similar to what James Delingpole wrote about the Met Office giving poor value for money recently... All quite depressing really http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/ja...b-in-the-wind/ |
