It's interesting to compare the "Invent" pages forecast shower
distribution for 1200Z today with mainly showers of the SE corner with the actual location of showers at 1030Z. Showers have started to hit the south-east but plenty coming into northern areas that the model clearly didn't get. I realise that the model struggles with inland advection of showers but wonder what else might have caused this "miss". Richard |
